Yes we are! If you are a BUPA client you receive more savings & bigger health-fund rebates on physiotherapy sessions.
Of course, our classes are small in size so we can ensure everyone receives the attention necessary to ensure proper form and to modify or progress the exercises as needed.
Our group reformer are fitness classes with a strong emphasis on form and the core priniciples of pilates but they are not clinical classes. If you are injured or have special needs, we recommend joining one of our semi-private classes or rehab series first.
We understand with work and life commitments, it is often hard to get to an appointment during normal business hours. All of our therapist have early morning and later evening appointments available so you do not have to delay getting on top of your health. If you do not see a time that works for you, let us know. We try our best to accomodate when we are able.
We understand it can feel daunting trying yoga for the first time- we created friendly, non-intimidating for everyone to enjoy the benefits. Our yoga studio is dark with no mirrors so you can focus on the practice at hand and not be distracted by others. Our instructors are very knowledgeable & friendly and ready to help make your first experience of yoga be a good one.
If you have a mat we recommend bringing it. If not or you forget it, that is ok, we have complimentary mats available to use.
You are welcome in all classes we offer but here is a little break down to help you decide which class might be best for you:
- Yin yoga: great for your first class especially if you are looking for a stretchy, relaxing form of yoga that does not require any effort
- Hatha yoga: If you are looking for more physical movement and to learn the different postures this is a good starting point. Hatha is a physical practice but less dynamic than some of our other classes which is perfect to build a good foundation and understanding of yoga.
- Surfers Yoga: This is a breath led flow that incorporates strengthening and stretching. It is a great class to develop balance within the body.
- Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa is our most dynamic of our yoga classes. Our instructors are great at cueing and we move mindfully through different sequences of postures.
